Free Six-Week Disease Prevention ProgramBalance Living with Diabetes is a free six-week evidence-based Disease Prevention Program where Participants learn skills that help them manage their Type 2 diabetes. Such skills include: choosing a healthy diabetes appropriate diet, maintaining an active lifestyle for improved blood sugar control, and preventing diabetes complications by practicing preventative care.

Tai Chi Exercise
Low Impact Exercise Program
Tai Chi is an evidence-based Disease Prevention Program aimed to improve strength, flexibility, and balance to aid in fall prevention. Tai Chi consists of low impact movements suitable for older adults with chronic illness. It has been proven to aid in treating musculoskeletal pain and post-traumatic stress disorder, strengthening cardiovascular health, reducing fatigue, improving cognitive function and boosting overall mood and mental health.
